My name is Gerhard Eujen and I am a freelance artist from Großefehn. I was born on 13.10.1971 in Leer (East Frisia). 

I have had a passion for drawing since I was a child and it still accompanies me today. In my youth, I discovered airbrushing through a friend. Back then, in a time without the internet, Airbrush Art and Action magazine and Airbrush Total magazine were my most valuable sources of knowledge. I experimented on various surfaces such as paper, cardboard, motorcycles and cars.

I had to interrupt my artistic activities for a while due to work and family commitments. However, at the age of 40, I rekindled my passion for art and began to continue my education. I was able to develop my skills both self-taught and through various training courses.

Some of the most important stages of my artistic development are:

• 2011: Course with Frank Martin Stahlberg on monochrome portraits.
• 2016: Course with Marissa Osterlee in Holland on the subject of Color Portrait
• 2019: Faber-Castell Polychromos Workshop with Marissa Osterlee

My works are intended to arouse the viewer's interest and tell a story. People and portraits are usually the focus of my work.
